Thanks for the compliments. I enjoy papercrete, like to try new things with it. Let me know when you are headed this direction and I'll show you my projects in various stages of completion : )

Right now I'm in the middle of remodeling the back room of my dome. I'm replacing the roof of that part with a 26v 66.6'r dome section, that will be covered with (of course) papercrete.

Spaceman,  I would like to say that you are my hero in papercrete.  I remember when you used to get into some very heated discussions on this group and then I would try your way and it always turned out right.  My dream is to one day visit your place and see first hand what you have accomplished.  You are the best in my way of thinking.  Thank you for hanging in there for all this time.

I started out in 1995 building a small castle as a play house for my grandson and he had a great time in it until the family moved to Florida.  It stood there until late 2003 when my wife asked if I would build her a wedding chapel.  (she is a wedding coordinator).  I told her I would very much like to do that.  I had been reading about the papercrete idea on the "net".  I read every email that came my way.  I was so excited about all the things possible with this wonderful product.  I tried almost every experiment that came on the news group.  I still have my samples that I made.  I finally came up with a formula that would work well down here in the South with all the rain and humidity that we have here.  I will try to put the picture of the original castle on this email.

I used "cordwood" as the style and "papercrete" as my mortar.  I tried to incorporate several different alternative styles in the project.

I am very excited to say after all this time of learning from others on this group, now I have something to offer back.  Thanks to all of you!!!!    CWG of Alabama
